In confession you will find rest
For your soul .
Jesus promises this to us .
In confession and absolution ,
Your father will speak this rest .
He speaks God's forgiveness
Into the heart of the sinner
Who is release from sin and free .
There is no reason to be afraid
To confess before the Lord of peace .
Do it and take what He gives
And that is the rest for the soul .
