Follow Jesus

We who follow Jesus today 

Have a role to play 

In the kingdom .

Ultimately it is through our living Lord 

That God's kingdom has come ,

Does come and will come .

Jesus is still sending out his followers 

To extend the peace of Christ 

And serve the Lord by sharing 

The good news of the gospel 

And caring for the needs of those 

Who are poor .

God's kingdom continues 

To come into the lives of people 

Far and near .
