When I run  my 5K these days .

While the grueling physical toll

Is evident in my body ,

And the mental and emotional strain

And exhaustion I am wondering 

If I can continue .

But still this challenge is not insurmountable ,

Because when I run I can pray , sweat and cry 

And only God and I will understand why ,

Because through any challenge life brings ,

Purpose , diligence and the willingness 

To place ourselves in the hands of God 

For God will help me to finish the race 

Set before me .
