We are paralyzed by stunted dreams
And hopes to small .
The Lord is our refuge and our strength .
He helps us in our distress .
He helps us with our groaning every night
As we drench our pillows with tears .
Our eyes wasted away with grief .
The Lord hears our weeping .
He hears our plea .
The Lord will accept our prayers
All our troubles and foes .
They will retire and go away .
Lord keep a hold of us even as we pray
Not just on St Pat's Day .
