You Are Told

When your head is held low ,
You are some thing , you are told to your back .
When you hold your head up ,
You are someone ,
You are told to your face .
When I close my eyes ,
People say I am sleeping .
When I close my eyes , I am dreaming
If I wear a plaid shirt ,
I am to act one way I am told .
It is to bad that we are told
We are this and that because of the way we act .
I have learned not to expect any thing .
If you are to do any thing do it with love
And you will do it right no matter what people have told you .
