As parents we can influence
As parents we will make mistakes
Good things always come to parents
Who wait but how long
But my God how long do we have to wait
For our children and for all our pains to go away
Blessed are we that weep and as we come to morn
For one day as parents and children
We will all laugh and time will go on
One day at a time that is what my grandma
Would say every day
As a parent I need to hear it today
