A dark night a dark morning
I can not believe what happened in Aurora
Aurora is to mean the goddess of dawn
How hard of a blow as an American
Are we to take after what happened
Will there ever be a true answer to why
What does it take for us to be simply tough
Old people say I talk to much
I know life is fragile
There will always be a time to grieve
We as Americans may drown out the pain
And the gravity of it all
What happened in Aurora could happen any where
Things don't always happen the right way
In the movies or in life
But we need to talk about our pain
If it happened in Aurora
Or in our city or in our town or even in our safe home
