My hair has more salt than pepper.
Progress is not where I have been
But where I’m going .
When my body hurts ,
I still finish the race .
I am not perfect just courage .
If I stand still , nothing goes fast .
I fear failure , the unknown and rejection .
Oh the weight that people put on me every day .
The more I have overcome in my life
The more I have achieved .
That’s just me .
