A true American sporting event .
When something real bad happens
It is on every TV channel .
There is no reason to change channels this day .
You just sit there and cry .
How many times do we have to say why ?
Do we have to sleep with one eye closed
In America every night ?
A sporting event is to be a celebration
A holiday for you and me from KC
to Tampa Bay, to Atlanta , to Oklahoma City ,
To Denver, to New Town ,to Boston .
The next new normal may be in your town ?
