He got me off guard one day
And hurt me .
I called on the Lord's name .
The Lord is gracious
And he has compassion .
The Lord protects me
For I have a simple heart .
I felt helpless
And he saved me .
He has kept my eyes from tears
And my feet from stumbling .
I will walk in the presence
Of the Lord .
Yes in the land of the living .
