Advent

Having learned to never assume

I know what is going on 

In another person's heart !

During this time of Advent  ,

We wait for a greater fullness 

Of Christ's Spirit to penetrate 

Our hearts .

When we become impatient 

With ourselves ,

May we recognize God's mercy 

And compassion in the people 

Who support and nurture us 

As we change and grow .
