God gives each of us gifts ,
And He shows his love for us
When we put these gifts to work
In the Work around us .
Learning the words of the Lord
And then not putting them into action
Behind those words is like reading
Recipes and not cooking anything .
Just like my mom and my grandmas
Could brighten the world around me
With their special recipes of cookies .
We can show God's love to others in such a way
That whoever tastes what God offers
Will know that they have tasted
The world's greatest love .
