To Find Rest

I do not know the future holds for me .

I try not to be consumed

With fear , worry and anxiety .

I should be content to leave 

The future in God's hands .

I know God knows the end from the beginning .

I should be able to rest 

Because I do know God's 

Care and protection surrounds me .

When my future seems uncertain 

And my fear , my anxiety and worry 

Overwhelms me ,

I can lie down and rest 

Because God is in control of all things .
