Everyday is Caring Watering And Feeding Time

Waiting for our faith to grow can feel 

A lot like waiting for grandma's plants to germinate 

And reach toward the sun when I was young .

We need the daily food of prayer ,

Sacraments and the community to urge us upward .

But growth is sure hard and sometimes a painful 

Thing for which to wait 

We can not rush the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives ,

But we can learn to savor the intimacy 

Of being fed and cared for .

Remember , God is truly the master gardener 

Of them all

And of our soul and he nurtures me and you .
