If only our leaders began their reign
By renouncing their desire for glory .
Fame and riches ,
If they would pray for wisdom
To rule honestly and faithfully ,
If they just publicly profess
And produce the qualities
Of good judgement and justice ,
I believe the people would then cheer loudly
With deep gratitude .
