Lean On Him

If ever you have a loved one

Who is struggling with an addiction 

And some people not believe that she

Believed in Jesus and still struggle daily .

You can pray and ask God to set 

Your loved one free from the very real bondage 

Of addition .

That she might experience freedom 

In Christ and that God would give

You the peace and patience you needed .

As you pray you will find comfort 

And strength from your relationship with Him .

Many of us have earnest , persistent prayers 

That seem to go unanswered .

We can be assured that God 

Does care and He does hear

All our requests .

He does urge us to continue 

To walk closely with Him 

Being joyful in hope and patient

In affliction faithful in prayer .

We can all lean on Him .
