All In The Family

The love of the family 

Is one of God's greatest

Blessings on earth .

Yet how often we snap and snarl .

Against those we love .

Our mothers and fathers 

Should be honored 

With kindness and respect  .

Our great gifts our children 

Should be nurtured 

With love and patience .

But we often bring 

 Pride , resentment 

And hostility into those

Family relationships .

Family relationships

Are never easy 

The family cycle repeats its self 

And the family 

Knows it to be .
