No Words

We all want to be heard 

And to be understood ,

But in the age of social media ,

We are more likely to mistakenly 

Believe that words are always 

The most powerful form of communication 

On the contrary ,

There have been times when a knowing

Nod or a simple smile or just a wink 

Have communicated a depth of understanding .

To me that surpasses any words similarly 

Just look to the heavens 

Can fill us with a sense of the Creator's power

And wisdom that no other form of communication can convey .
