We all experience circumstances
That leave us reeling ,
Wondering which way to turn
And if we will survive .
Tough times are often beyond
Our control ,
But we can still choose
How we react to the event .
Remember , to praise God
Because God is gracious ,
Forgiving , compassionate
And abounding in love .
Even when we do not understand
How any good can possibly
Come from our present circumstances ,
We can choose whether we will focus
On the negative or the blessing God has given us .
