One

I have been intrigued by the number 1 .

By it self it is weak and powerless  .

When it is multiplied by it self 

It keeps the same value  .

But in its relationship with other numbers ,

It becomes powerful .

Even the greatest number increases 

When this small number is added to it 

And when a critical decision has to be voted on ,

One vote can make all the difference 

So do vote in November .
