The Plant

In life like the stem of a plant ,

We often find ourselves cracked ,

Heavy burdens like financial problems ,

Health issues and other concerns 

And like the strong winds of SD

That damaged the plant .

Remember , God can sustain us 

Like the rope that supported the tree .

God promises to sustain us ,

Even in our old age and our gray hairs .

Know this promise we can live in the peace 

And joy that trusting God can bring .
