He Is Not Alone

When I would look into the smiling 

Infant face of my grandson ,

I dream of all the great things .

He will accomplish as a great man .

At times he will have all kinds

Of crisis and feeling helpless ,

Alone and terrified after a dream .

He may scream for help only 

To feel that no one hears or cares 

But he is not alone .

God and I love him .

We do not want him to face 

His nightmares without help .

Someday he will know and realize 

He needs to know what 

God said :

You will seek me and find me 

When you seek me with all your heart .

I will always love him 

With all my heart.
