On This Day

On this day help give me

Strength and might to help

Up hold me .

Give me some wisdom .

Give me watchful eyes .

Give me listening ears 

And lips for truthy speaking 

And let my tongue utter 

What is right .

May the law of God 

Be in my heart .

May my path I take today 

And all my needs 

And protection 

Be put in God's hands

Today and always .
