No Strings Attached

When you give a banquet ,

Always give kindness a try .

Make sure you invite the poor ,

The crippled , the lame , the blind ,

And you will be blessed .

The blessing comes from God ,

Because these guest would not be 

Able to repay the host .

Jesus approved of helping people 

Who could not supply charity ,

Donations , sparking conversation

Or social connections .

My mom fed the important people too .

She treated everyone the same 

With no strings attached .
