You may need a blanket for insecurities
And for your fears .
You can feel the chilly draft of quilt and shame .
You need to be covered
In the manner that Jesus
Covered disgraced shame filled people .
Love is a blanket to be graciously
And courageously given away
For the comfort reclamation of others .
As a recipient of such great love ,
Let me be the giver
Of a security blanket just for you .
