He Knows

Ask and you will receive  ,

So that your joy may be complete .

God knows our needs 

And meets them all .

You  have fed us in our spiritual

And physical hunger .

You also grant us the generosity 

To feed others in need .

You have spoken your word 

To us when we have forgotten 

Our way .

You have granted us the compassion 

Oh to speak your words of love 

To others who stray .

You have given us the promise 

Of eternal life .

You do grant us the charity 

To strengthen in hope those

Who falter 

Like me sometimes .
