Extra noise is practically guaranteed
During celebrations .
When family and friends come together
It is like a time of animated conversations ,
The excess food , boisterous laughter
And sweet expressions of love .
But when we quietly open our hearts
We find that the time with God
Is even sweeter .
We are more like to encounter
God in the stillness .
Sometimes if we just listen ,
We to will hear that gentle whisper .
