Worries

Worries seem to multiply .

There are those small 

And unreasonable worries

Over events of little consequences 

And then there are the more serious 

Worries of how to provide 

For the necessities of life  .

Worries can make us lose sight 

Of God's promise .

We may feel abandoned 

And without hope 

When it is a struggle to maintain 

Our basic needs of food and shelter .

God calls us to trust in the Lord 

Do not be afraid 

Daily life confronts us 

With moments of anxiety 

About the future .

Jesus encourage us to rely

On God's loving care

And protection 

And to always trust God .
