We can not successfully complete life
On our own .
Our report card would show F's
And U's for failures and unsatisfactory efforts .
But our loving and forgiving God changes
That when He reveals His son's eternal glory .
We go through life sustained by the vision
Of His heavenly splendor
like a quiet joy in seeing a newborn baby ,
A moment of gratitude in observing
A troublesome teenager or an older person
Who is on best behavior
And moments of hope and joy .
Remember , let us just settle down
And enjoy the scene you see every day .
