It goes without saying
That trusting does not come easy
For all of us .
Trusting in God does not guarantee
That our lives will be free
From struggle or that it will be
Easy for all of us to endure difficult times .
Trusting in God , however , does fill
Our hearts with joy
Because it is through trusting
In God that we receive the peace
That passes all understanding .
It is God's peace , which we
Have through Christ that makes
Our hearts happy .
