When it was time for the Lord's Prayer ,
I saw a 5 year old boy
Who did not know the words in church
But somehow he understood
It was something special
And that he needed to show proper respect .
The 5 year old boy stood at attention
And placed his hand over his heart
As if it were a patriotic pledge .
He stood that way through out
The entire prayer .
His child like respect for Jesus' words
Put me to shame .
