Our Selfish Nature

Our sinful and selfish nature 

Is always full of worry about things .

We fear that if do not work 

Hard and make money ,

We will not have what we need  .

We fail to see that despite our worry 

About food and clothing ,

Our God who loves us dearly 

And knows our needs ,

Will continue to provide 

What we need .

All we have to do is trust and believe .
