While we tend to put limitations
On who is worthy of our compassion ,
Jesus was willing to reach out
To all human beings .
Some of us have difficulties dropping
Our assumptions and prejudices
Toward the rich .
Others reject the poor or the minorities .
However in the grand moments
When we put our judging mind on pause ,
There is room for the Spirit of Christ
To change our hearts .
