Be Still

God told me to be still .

God will fight for me 

And all I have to be is still .

Sometimes when I experience trouble 

In my life ,

I find myself being still to be 

One of the most difficult thing

In the world to do .

I know do not grieve 

For the strength of God is with me  .

When we are confronted with life's challenges ,

My first impulse is often to fight back 

Or maybe to give up .

When I am being still ,

The trust that God is bigger

Than my challenges 

And that even when I am uncertain

About something ,

I need to be still 

And God is faithful to me in my stillness .
