When I look into the mirror ,
I notice the inevitable signs of aging .
Everyone will always be looking at me .
I know God is more interested
In what is in my heart
Not how I look no matter my age .
I serve a God who loves me
For what is inside
And He wants me to love myself .
When I focus on what God loves in me ,
I will find true joy .
No one is truly ageless .
All of us but God
Will perish one day .
What is on the inside
Will shine
Before others as we share
Christ with them
And that same spirit will carry us
Into eternal life .
