A little encouragement can go a long way ,
Especially when it is based on something certain .
Christian encouragement is not based
On knowledge of tomorrow .
It comes from the promise of a loving God
Who like a compassionate parent ,
Consoles His children to say ,
Consoles His children to say ,
Comfort , comfort my child .
These words mean every thing
Will be okay ,
We need not be afraid .
God comforts us .
Remember , when you walk through a day
In trusting dependence on me
Your aching heart is soothed always .
