Encouragement

One day I was nudged by God 

To focus on encouraging others .

That day God sent some people 

My way who need encouragement .

As far as I could tell,

I did not make a huge difference 

In anyone's life .

It could be that someone's life 

Was changed and I did not know about it .

I did learn that people do appreciate 

And are strengthened by the words of encouragement .

I learn that each of us 

Is encouraged as we encourage others .
