Spring is coming .
Jesus reminds us that he is the true vine
And that God cuts the unfruitful branches from them .
Sometimes out of laziness , habit or fear of change ,
I stay in a rut that keeps me from following God's will .
It is not easy to change behavior ,
Step away from a situation
Or move in a new direction .
But sometimes God redirect my path
And ask me to change what I am doing
In order to serve better and produce more fruit .
God wants me to snip away
The dead branches in my life
To encourage new growth .
I feel the Holy Spirit nudging me
To make the needed changes
In my life so that I can produce
Fruit for God .
