Father Your Word contains story
After story of humans freed from bondage .
I thank you for the grace that frees me
And allows me to thrive .
God will lead with human kindness ,
With ropes of hope and love ,
He will lift the yoke from your neck
And bend down and feed you .
God's grace is not a lasso looped
Around your shoulders
Trapping you and binding you tightly
Instead grace reaches out
To you through the kindness of others .
It is a rope of hope and love
That stretches through our lives
Leading us to freedom .
