Foot races are not the only thing
That requires second wind strength .
Life's race does need a second wind to ,
To endure tired , weary people need
God's help to comfort and motivate
People who need strength to keep going .
Timeless words remind fatigued
And discourage people that the Lord
Is not detached or uncaring
That our plight does not escape His notice .
These words breath comfort and assurance
And remind us of God's limitless
Power and bottomless knowledge .
