Quiet Comfort

When I was in pain and in deep lose ,

I remained faithful and praise God .

My friends come to visit me .

They sit beside me for 7 days and nights 

In silence , comforting me with out using 

A word .

Quiet comfort can be the best gift 

For a grieving and hurting person .

In times where sorrow is to deep for words ,

The act of just being with the person who speaks volumes .

The days of silence and comfort helps me 

Deal with my sadness ,

While having the support I needed .

Remember , silent companionship 

Is a good way to remind us 

That we are loved

And not alone .
