Each believer has a badge of faith to wear .
Jesus encourages us to pin it on every morning
And let it shine all day and night
Through our words and deeds .
We may back away from publicly living
Out our faith for fear of ridicule , rejection
Or even persecution .
When and if we choose to hide our badge ,
We know that our merciful Lord is waiting
To shine it back up , pin it back on
And send us back into working to help others .
