Gratitude is a funny thing .
No matter how hard we try ,
We take things for granted ,
We know that everything
Good that we have is a gift from God .
Do we think about the fact that we
Have a roof over our head ?
Maybe only when we see news footage
Of a tornado .
Do we make the most of both
Our mental and our physical health ?
How often do we remember
That every breath and heartbeat is a gift ,
