Be Honest With God

Nothing can separate us from God's love in Christ .

Not death or life ,

Not angels or rulers ,

No present things

Or future things .

God assures this scriptural truth ,

God did not say that nothing 

Bad would ever happen .

God did say that nothing 

Can separate us from God ,

Not even the tragic and untimely 

Death of a loved one .

When we realize God is always with us ,

We can lay out our true feelings 

At God's feet ,

Then we can begin to heal in ways 

God has promised 

And that healing brings us peace .

Always remember we are human

And God is God .
