Sleep is essential for me .
I struggle to set a decent nights rest .
I have many reasons for not sleeping .
I have a mountain of anxieties
Like the fear of everything
I need to accomplish ,
The death of a pet ,
The distress of living
At a fast pace .
My toiling and my relentless efforts
Are useless unless God provides
What I all need .
I know He will grant me sleep
Because I know He loves me
And God's love extends to all
Who love and trust and believe
In Him like me .
He invites us to release our anxieties
To Him and sink into His rest .
