Sometimes the many things
We fill our lives with can block our light
That is our our true treasures .
They can even keep us from seeing
Our Lord's goodness
When it is there just in front of us .
When this happens ,
It is usually time to stop ,
Slow down and focus on seeing
The Lord's presence as much
As we can in all the every day
Places we pass by each day .
I thank the Lord for the time
I am able to recognize the treasure
God placed right before my eyes .
