A Child

A child will not remember

What you spent on them 

Or what toy you got them 

Or the fancy outfit you got them .

A child will remember the time

And the love you spent with them

And what you call them , like Smiley !

A child needs food to eat .

A child always needs love .

A child needs freedom 

To learn and to grow .

A child needs to know 

They are not alone .

Always let the child 

Come to God .
