From the youngest of years ,
We imitate our siblings ,
Our sports and movie heroes
And our parents .
We imitate them because we desire
To be like them .
These people all have some negative characteristics ,
But we can learn from those as well as I have .
What we imitate is the examples we have before us .
This is how we learn and grow in Christ as well .
We imitate and learn
And then at some point we become the example .
